I had a corticosteroids therapy 3 weeks ago, however my hands started tingling some days ago and I wonder if that means that my MS is progressing dynamically despite the treatment?

I have swollen lymph nodes for a month now (they come and go) and feel like my Epstein Bar Virus is reactivated. Is it possible thst it interacts with my MS and make it worse?

Thank you so much in advance.

Hi Nadja,

both hands? Then it's most likely no relapse presuming that your MS is not present since decades. Progressing MS is defined as slow continuous progression of neurological deficits over one year at least, so a can't tell now. Swollen lymph nods occur in infectious diseases like EBV (check by blood test) und can cause Uhthoff's sign with MS-like symptoms without any proof of relapse. Uhthoff disappears without any treatment and will not worsen MS.
